Alerts and ticketing

Send alerts to your PSA, Microsoft Teams or any webhook, and how repeats and recoveries are handled.

Open alerts are on the Alerts page and on each machine. Where they are sent is set under Settings › Where alerts go. You can have several destinations, for every site or for one site only, and turn each one on or off. Send test checks a destination right away.

Destination types

Ticketing webhook (for your PSA)

Made for PSA email-to-ticket or webhook integrations. Each alert has a stable title per machine and check, so your PSA can match repeats and recoveries to the same ticket. Recoveries (status UP) are sent too, unless you turn that off for the destination.

  "source": "NeverLapse RMM",
  "host": "FRONTDESK-01",
  "check": "Disk C: low on space",
  "status": "DOWN",

  "group": "Workstations",

  "customer_id": 31391199
}

client is the site name. customer_id is the site's PSA customer number (or your global one) when set.

Microsoft Teams

Create a Teams workflow "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" and paste its URL. Alerts arrive as cards with the machine, site and times; recoveries in green.

JSON

A plain JSON event for anything else (your own scripts, automation tools).

How alerts behave

  • One alert per problem: a disk that stays full is one alert, updated with the current numbers, not a new one every minute.
  • Recovery: when the problem clears, the alert closes and the recovery is sent to the destinations that got the opening.
  • Muted devices still show alerts in the app but send nothing.
  • Delivery retries: if a destination can't be reached, NeverLapse retries with increasing pauses. Admins see delivery problems at the bottom of the Alerts page.
  • Licensing: if your license has expired, alerts are not sent (they still show in the app). See Your license.
